100 Things

I read somewhere in the 'blogosphere' (yes, it is a word) that you should write 100 things about you (or your family) on your 100th post. Well, I am past my 100th post, but thought I would still share some things you may know...and some you may not!


  1. Daryl and I have known each other since middle school.


  2. Daryl was stationed in California with the Navy for the first year we were dating and then the first year of our marriage


  3. I love being crafty...I didn't say I was good at it, but I like doing it


  4. Tanner's favorite food is a hot dog wiener


  5. My mother lives with us (I don't know what I would do without her here)


  6. Daryl and I have two nephews and one niece


  7. My favorite holiday is Christmas (not because of all the presents and junk, but because it is Jesus' birthday and I love all the decorations)


  8. Daryl is the student minister at our church


  9. I work in Human Resources (Lord help me)


  10. Tanner is in the 25th percentile for his height and 10th percentile for his weight


  11. Daryl ordered me an awesome new digital camera last night via the Internet (I am so excited!)


  12. Daryl just graduated with his Bachelor's degree (so proud)


  13. Tanner likes to wear only one shoe around the house


  14. I enjoy baking...not cooking....baking (it's different)


  15. My brother is married to Daryl's youngest sister (we didn't do anything illegal...I promise)


  16. Daryl will be starting seminary next year


  17. I tend to over analyze a situation/problem


  18. Daryl never meets a stranger


  19. I used to model clothes for a local mall's fashion shows


  20. Daryl likes dogs...


  21. I do not (like dogs)


  22. We have driven across the country


  23. Tanner was born with a full head of black hair


  24. I had a lot of heartburn when I was pregnant (explains the hair)


  25. Daryl loves ham


  26. I need to loose 20 lbs


  27. Tanner likes to play football


  28. We are Gamecock fans


  29. Daryl is in the US Navy


  30. I know there is something more important that I could be doing right now


  31. Tanner must be touching someone when he sleeps


  32. I have a secret obsession to Premier Jewelry (okay, so it's not secret)


  33. Daryl will become Officer in the Navy in January


  34. I am letting my hair grow out


  35. Daryl wears a size 10 shoe (sometimes 9.5)


  36. My parents are divorced


  37. Tanner knows all the letters of the alphabet


  38. We painted our whole house before we moved in last year...every room


  39. Tanner loves to sing


  40. Daryl loves the Dallas Cowboys


  41. Everyone in this house drives a white vehicle


  42. Daryl built Tanner a sandbox in the backyard (all by himself)


  43. The sandbox is currently home to a colony of fire ants


  44. Daryl proposed to me while I was eating banana pudding at my mom's house


  45. I got our blog name from the first letter of our names: Tanner (T), Ashlee (A), Daryl (D)...TADpoles


  46. Daryl played baseball in high school


  47. I have no hand-eye coordination


  48. I am left-handed


  49. Tanner knows all his colors


  50. I only labored about 8 hours with Tanner


  51. Only pushed for about 30 minutes before delivery (labor is so much easier than pregnancy)


  52. Daryl cried (or should I say...sobbed) when Tanner was born


  53. I hate talking on the telephone


  54. My favorite food is Mexican


  55. Tanner and I have both had a flu shot this year


  56. We cannot get DSL Internet service where we live


  57. I like cheesy 'soap-operaish' romance


  58. Our wedding bands are made of white gold


  59. Tanner has a chipped tooth


  60. Daryl has an obsession with T-shirts


  61. I absolutely love Dr. Pepper


  62. My favorite TV show is the "The Office"


  63. I have a friend Jessica that could be my sister. We look a lot alike and I still have one older lady at church that calls me by her name.


  64. Daryl and I are very conservative (politically speaking)


  65. Tanner's room currently looks like a disaster area


  66. I still have Halloween decorations up in my house...just a few, though


  67. My office at work is the size of a linen closet. We jokingly refer to it at work as 'my studio apartment'


  68. My middle name is Alaine


  69. Daryl helps a friend two nights a week by being a referee for his flag football league


  70. Tanner's bedtime is 9:30 p.m. (most of time he is out before then)


  71. Daryl and Tanner's middle name is Bryan


  72. I really wish I was closer to 100 right now


  73. We hardly ever eat at our kitchen table (but I wish we did more often)


  74. I like reading non-fiction


  75. I've never been to Hawaii


  76. Daryl has been there on more than one occasion


  77. I do not like to fly (in airplanes...just in case you were wondering)


  78. My first car was a red Nissan 240 SX


  79. Tanner's nickname is buggy


  80. My love language is 'Acts of Service'


  81. Daryl's is 'Physical Touch' (imagine that)


  82. I am scared of moths (it is something about the powdery substance on their wings)


  83. Daryl thinks it is hilarious that I am scared of moths


  84. I wish I could sew


  85. I am a night-owl


  86. I've never been in jail


  87. Daryl has (even though he isn't proud of it)


  88. When Tanner wants something to drink, he makes a clicking sound (I have tried to get him to stop...however it is quite cute)


  89. My first two years of college were in nursing school


  90. I plan on starting back to finish my Bachelor's next year


  91. We went on our honeymoon to Gatlinburg, TN


  92. Tanner was not breast-fed


  93. I can type over 120 word-per-minute


  94. I feel like I am being selfish saying "I" all the time as I write this post


  95. I LOVE Wikipedia


  96. Daryl is a middle child


  97. Daryl had a Cabbage Patch Kid when he was younger, named Boyd


  98. Tanner has a Cabbage Patch Kid named Coby Rodrigo


  99. We are all sinners


  100. However, we are glad to be saved by God's grace

I hope that you have learned something new about our family and am praying that you don't think I have gone mad. Daryl is going to kill me for #97. What can I say...it was slim pickin' towards the end!
